This project targets two representative mariculture regions to monitor oxytetracycline (OTC) levels in seawater, sediments, and mussels. Controlled laboratory exposures using Mytilus galloprovincialis will evaluate OTC bioaccumulation, physiological toxicity, and transcriptomic responses. Based on collected ecotoxicity data, Species Sensitivity Distribution (SSD) curves will be constructed for ecological risk assessment. Concurrently, human health risks via dietary exposure will be estimated. This study will provide essential insights into the environmental fate and impact of antibiotic residues, supporting both pollution management and public health protection in aquaculture zones.
