Staff Our Department warmly welcomes international academic and administrative staff through a variety of incoming mobility programs, including Visiting Fellowships, Erasmus+ STA and STT exchanges, and other short-term visiting opportunities. Visiting Fellow Program A Visiting Fellow is a qualified researcher who conducts study, research, and collaborative activities at a Department of the University of Pisa. Application procedures and forms are available on the University of Pisa website. Erasmus mobility for teaching/training (STA and STT) For Erasmus teaching or training mobility, please contact the members of the Department of Veterinary Sciences with whom you wish to carry out your activity, or get in touch with the International Office. Visiting – Short mobility The Department of Veterinary Sciences may accept foreign students or staff from abroad who are not eligible for the “Visiting Fellow” program (stay of less than 30 days), the “Visiting Student” program (stay of less than 2 weeks), or mobility programs assigned through specific calls for proposals (including Erasmus+ KA131, Erasmus+ KA171), but who need to attend the facility for short periods for teaching or research purposes. Visiting – Short mobility To accommodate them, it is necessary to extend the University’s third-party liability insurance and insurance coverage for accidents they may incur on University of Pisa facilities to foreigners. Requests for attendance at the Department of Veterinary Sciences facilities for foreigners must be addressed to the Department’s Management and forwarded to the Internationalisation Service by email at international@vet.unipi.it using the appropriate request form available on the dedicated page. Following the proposal received, the Management will evaluate the authorisation for short-term attendance at the Department of Veterinary Sciences and will notify the undersigned and the internal tutor.
