Newsletter – VET Spotlight

The VET Spotlight newsletter was created to promote doctoral research and third mission activities in veterinary science and to foster collaboration with stakeholders (institutions, local communities, the scientific community, and professionals).

The newsletter is published monthly and is available in both Italian and English. Each issue opens with a Spotlight section, containing the main news item, followed by the PhD Corner section, which features doctoral student projects.

The information content reflects the DSV’s research areas: animal knowledge and care, including the development of innovative diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical methods; human-animal interaction and animal welfare; the quality and safety of animal products; and interactions between animals and the environment, with a focus on the impacts and sustainability of agricultural and livestock production, biodiversity, and the effects of climate change on production and communities.

The newsletter also includes a section for answers to questions from citizens and a direct contact form with stakeholders for those wishing to collaborate with the Department’s stakeholders.
