Biosafety and Food Quality Biosafety and Food Quality LEARN MORE The Master’s Degree in Biosafety and Food Quality is an inter-class (LM-7 Agricultural Biotechnology and LM-70 Food Science and Technology) and interdepartmental programme, offered in collaboration with the Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences. The programme trains professionals to manage issues related to food production, with a focus on food safety, quality, and traceability across the entire supply chain, as well as on formulation, processing, preservation, and biopreservation processes. Students who graduated from the Master’s programme in Biosafety and Food Quality work in food control, consulting, and training across the entire supply chain, from production to marketing. Their goal is to ensure the safety, quality, and hygiene of food, using modern methods while complying with current regulations and promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility. The programme includes lectures, seminars, and practical activities in teaching and research laboratories. The curriculum features elective courses, a European Union foreign language, an internship at partner institutions or companies, and an experimental thesis.
