Staff The Department offers its teaching and administrative staff the opportunity to undertake periods of mobility abroad within the framework of the Erasmus+ programs and other international opportunities. Erasmus staff mobility for teaching (STA e STT) The Erasmus+ Program allows the teaching staff of the University of Pisa to carry out a teaching period at Higher Education Institutions located in European Union member countries and in other countries participating in the Program. Erasmus staff mobility for teaching (STA e STT) Mobility is based on bilateral agreements established between the Department of Veterinary Sciences and the partner universities participating in the Erasmus+ Programme. The mobility period has a minimum duration of 2 days and a maximum of 2 months (excluding travel days) and requires a minimum of 8 hours of teaching per week. Applications must be submitted to the CAI, which prepares a ranking list in accordance with EU guidelines on staff rotation, giving priority to those who have never benefited from this opportunity.The ranking list is then forwarded to the Research and Internationalization Office, which allocates the funds and informs the CAI accordingly. Mobility KA171 The European Erasmus+ KA171 Program allows teaching staff, researchers, and administrative staff of the University of Pisa to undertake a period at other universities, based on already active interinstitutional agreements. Mobility KA171 Activity period and deadlinesSubmission of applications: from 01/09/2026 to 30/09/2026. The third call, open to teaching staff and administrative staff, will fund activities to be carried out from 01/11/2026 to 31/03/2027.The fourth call, open to teaching staff and administrative staff, will fund any remaining grants, with activities to be carried out from 01/04/2027 to 31/07/2027.Following withdrawals and in the case of available funds, starting from 15/03/2027, the University may consider additional applications submitted on a rolling basis. In such cases, applications will be evaluated in the order of receipt, and applicants will be notified by e-mail within 15 working days from the submission date.This mobility must be completed no later than 31/07/2027.For more information, please consult the relevant call for applications.
