Internship TAAEC

The internship allows students to take part in practical activities at University facilities or at public and private institutions affiliated with the Department of Veterinary Sciences. It is designed to complete the student’s theoretical, practical, and professional training.

A list of partner companies for internships is available.

To carry out an internship at organisations not affiliated with the Department, it is necessary to follow the procedure for establishing a new agreement, which can be found on the dedicated page.

The TAAEC Degree Programme, as established by the Degree Regulations from the 2019/20 academic year, includes two periods of compulsory curricular internships starting from the 2019/20 academic year:

  • Mid-program Internship – 2 CFU
  • Final Internship – 3 CFU

Note: Students enrolled before the 2019/20 academic year are required to complete a single final internship of at least 5 CFU, following the same forms but using the procedure specific to their enrollment year.

For internships carried out as part of ERASMUS+ projects, in addition to this procedure, the procedure indicated in the relevant call published on the University website must be followed.

Mid-program Internship

For the completion of the in-course internship, students must follow the TPI Regulations (effective from 17 November 2025) and use the appropriate forms.
