Working student and parent-student Working student The status of working student is governed by Article 27 of the University’s Academic Regulations. The application for recognition of “Working Student” status, together with a copy of a valid identity document, must be submitted to the Teaching Unit using the appropriate application form, available on the dedicated page in the For Female Students section, at the following times of the year: february 1 – march 31 september 1 – october 31 Working students are entitled to two special exam sessions each academic year and are given the opportunity to take advantage of exemptions for their final internship. Students who are employed and need to provide their employer with certification of their academic activities can use the dedicated form available on the dedicated page. Veterinary Medicine The single-cycle Master’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine requires compulsory attendance. However, with resolution 7/2013, the Degree Course decided to grant concessions on the attendance requirement to working students who have a monthly commitment of at least 60 hours, reducing the compulsory attendance to: 30% for frontal lessons; 70% for practical lessons. Parent-student Students who are parents of children under the age of eight are entitled to two special exam sessions per academic year and are given the opportunity to take advantage of exemptions for practical internships.
